five stars

The flexibility is awesome, with zero fuss if I want to work remotely or from another city. For the three years I’ve been here it’s been the norm for my male managers to be working part time and taking part time parental leave, or away for several months on full time parental leave.

The biggest issue for the young folk in tech is pay, but it’s not a gender thing (just not as good as the tech industry broadly). The biggest challenge as a woman is having to fight to be well resourced and given good opportunities and not just saying yes to the first thing to come along, because long term you can get out behind on promotions if you haven’t had the right experience, and women by default will go whenever asked whereas men tend to say no.”
